Forward of their journey, the European leaders issued a joint assertion which adopted U.S. President Donald Trump’s renewed name for Russia to comply with a 30-day truce, permitting time for negotiations, or face “additional sanctions” from “the U.S. and its companions.” It isn’t clear if Trump was requested to enroll to the joint assertion, although the criticism of Putin contained inside it goes considerably additional than something the U.S. president has mentioned.
