Chunghwa Telecom, which is a part of a global consortium that owns the cable, stated it had been capable of reroute telecom visitors to different cables, and that service continued uninterrupted. The $500 million Trans-Pacific Categorical cable has linked nations in East Asia with the US’ West Coast since 2008.
