Mayor Karen Bass issued a curfew for downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday “to cease the vandalism, to cease the looting.”
She stated in a information convention that she had declared a neighborhood emergency and that the curfew will run from 8 p.m. Tuesday till 6 a.m. Wednesday.
“We reached a tipping level” after 23 companies have been looted, Bass stated.
