Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night present will return to ABC’s airwaves on Tuesday, almost every week after it was pre-empted amid criticism of the host’s remarks in regards to the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

President Donald Trump mentioned Thursday that the host was fired due to “unhealthy scores” after he mentioned a “horrible factor about a fantastic gentleman named Charlie Kirk.” Vice President JD Vance jokingly described Secretary of State Marco Rubio as “the brand new host of ABC’s late-night present!”
