Washington — Rep. Doug LaMalfa, a California Republican who had been in Congress since 2013, has died. He was 65.
The Butte County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned it acquired a 911 name from LaMalfa’s residence on Monday night time relating to a medical emergency, and LaMalfa was transferred to Enloe Hospital, the place he was taken into emergency surgical procedure. LaMalfa died through the surgical process, the sheriff’s division mentioned, and the coroner’s unit is conducting an investigation to find out the reason for demise.
