Soiled Work was presupposed to be the film that will propel Saturday Night time Reside’s Norm MacDonald to film stardom. Sadly, it didn’t work out that manner, with the movie solely incomes a modest $10 million theatrically. One of many causes the film tanked was that, on the eleventh hour, the studio pressured director Bob Saget (sure – THAT Bob Saget) to recut what had been deliberate as a raunchy R-rated comedy to a PG-13, rather more mainstream effort. This was an enormous mistake as MacDonald wasn’t Adam Sandler, and this mean-spirited film about petty revenge and scheming was by no means meant to be a household flick.
