Dave Bautista is ready to play the Kurgan in Chad Stahelski’s upcoming Highlander reboot, and the actor advised Collider that it’s a task he’s needed to play for a very long time.
“I feel I in all probability tweeted about this position, about being the Kurgan, greater than 10 years in the past. I’ve been chasing this position like I’ve been chasing the Marcus Fenix position [in Gears of War], simply because I used to be an enormous fan of the unique Highlander,” he stated. “I all the time cherished Clancy Brown’s efficiency because the Kurgan. I all the time needed to be the Kurgan. I don’t know why. There was one thing magical about that position. He’s the villain I like to hate. Similar with wrestling, I like being the unhealthy man, and that was the form of position that I’ve been looking for so far as being the unhealthy man.“
