Macs geared up with an Intel chip will not obtain main software program updates after the discharge of macOS Tahoe this fall. Through the WWDC Platforms State of the Union keynote, Matthew Firlik, Apple’s senior director of developer relations, introduced that macOS Tahoe “would be the closing launch for Intel Macs.”
