ABC radio caller Andrew Moore recovering after surgery following heart attack

[ad_1] ABC Sport commentator Andrew Moore is recovering in hospital after a coronary heart assault.

Moore suffered a coronary heart assault and underwent a profitable surgical procedure on Wednesday.

He's resting in hospital in Sydney and stated he's grateful to his "wonderful medical doctors and nurses".

Moore might be changed by Brett Sprigg for tonight's NRL grand ultimate rematch between Penrith and Melbourne at Western Sydney Stadium.

Moore joined the ABC from 2GB in 2015 and has been ABC Sport's chief rugby league radio caller ever since.

"Andrew Moore is among the most revered and cherished broadcasters within the nation," ABC Sport content material director Tim Verrall stated.

Sprigg opened Thursday's broadcast of the Panthers and Melbourne conflict with the announcement that Moore had undergone surgical procedure this week.
