French filmmaker Coralie Fargeat has pulled her newest function The Substance from Poland’s Camerimage Movie Pageant following the fallout of a controversial op-ed written by the competition’s founder and head Marek Żydowicz.
Fargeat posted a brief assertion on her X account this morning asserting the transfer. The filmmaker additionally mentioned the movie’s DoP Benjamin Kračun wouldn’t be touring to the cinematography-focused competition. Kračun had been scheduled to participate in Q&A periods on the competition.
