Paris — French politicians had been divided on Monday over the way to pay tribute to the late Brigitte Bardot who, regardless of her display legend, courted controversy — and convictions — in later life along with her far-right views.
The movie star died on Sunday on the age of 91 at dwelling within the south of France. Media across the globe splashed iconic photographs of her and tributes following the announcement.
Bardot shot to fame within the 1956 movie “And God Created Girl” and went on to look in about 50 movies, however turned her again on cinema in 1973 to throw herself into preventing for animal rights.
However her hyperlinks to the far-right stirred controversy.
