The Senate voted Saturday to launch into debate on President Trump’s “large lovely” spending invoice, after Republican leaders spent hours working to achieve sufficient help to approve the 940-page doc.
The multi-trillion greenback invoice narrowly superior in a 51-49 procedural vote, regardless of opposition from two Republican lawmakers who joined their Democratic colleagues in an try to dam the measure from reaching the Senate flooring.
